Bright Spot Café, a farm-to-table breakfast and lunch cafe, owned and operated by Tom and Shannon Brower, began in 2018 in Chester County, Pa. Tom and Shannon have over 35 years of restaurant and event planning experience. They have a catering and events company called HighBrow Event Group which has served private swim clubs, little leagues, and professional athletes through an upscale counter service model. During the pandemic they partnered with Bradon Noble and had the opportunity to serve over 15,000 frontline workers from Healthcare, First Responders, and Utility workers in three states, which lead them to move their operation to Newtown Pa. and Sea Isle City.

The owners purchased Shoobie's in 2021 in Sea Isle City and it became Shoobie's by Bright Spot, offering farm to table menu selections for breakfast and lunch. During the summer months they have weekly character breakfasts which makes it the perfect place for families to go to while on vacation. A few of the main menu items include: scrapple fries, pan made omelets, gluten free pancakes, waffles and toast, and home baked seasonal goodies, so there is something for everyone. In 2022 their goal is to serve families for all three meals of the day which will include a BYOB service as well as a late-night window for takeout. Shoobie's by Bright Spot will be open Friday-Sunday 8am-3pm through Jan. 3. They will reopen on President’s Day weekend and will be open seven days a week beginning April 1. They have character breakfasts, open mic nights, bingo, and other community events already lined up for 2022!
