Captain Andy Mettler has been chartering boats for Wakeside Watersports since 2008. He is a middle school math teacher in Gibbstown, New Jersey, but spends his summers chartering Watersports out of the Waterway Marina “Shack.” This Shack, which was originally built by Lou Buffalo, owner, and Captain of the Barbara Ann, was used to store commercial fishing equipment. In 2013, it became the home of Wakeside Watersports, serving the families of the Jersey shore and creating safe and long-lasting memories on the water. With two boats available for charter, Wakeside offers 1-hour or 2-hour Watersports packages where customers can choose from various activities including tubing, waterskiing, wakeboarding, and their newest sport, Zupping.

The captains and staff at Wakeside Watersports are friendly, thoughtful, and memorable. From the moment you call to book your reservation to the time you leave the boat; you can’t help but feel like you are part of the Wakeside family. Wakeside Watersports is open Monday through Saturday, 8am-5pm for Watersports, and offers after hours cruises starting at 5:30pm daily.
